This offbeat holiday show is a potpourri of artwork (from local artists to Andy Warhol), photographs (featuring photographers from San Diego, New York and Paris ), memorabilia (including baseball cards of such legendary Yankee and Brooklyn Dodger legends as Joe Dimaggio, Mickey Mantle and Sandy Koufax), and of course artifacts – including an actual shutter from the Chelsea Hotel .
There is no admission charge for this hybrid of a gallery show and an offbeat museum, and as an added bonus, the first 50 visitors on opening night will receive an ‘I Love NY’ T-shirt. The gift shop will feature a variety of art-related Christmas gifts including original art, jewelry, art books, notecards, arty T-shirts, and more.
100% of the net profits from the exhibit will benefit autism research. |
