| Event Description |
Set out for a night of adventure as OMA hoists its sails at the next Arrrt After Dark: PIRATES ASHORE! Inspired by the striking nautical sculptures by John Taylor in the exhibit Ghost Fleet, OMA will create a pirate town filled with visual treasures. Tony Swatton, renowned movie prop designer from Sword and Stone, will present a small display of props from movies such as Pirates of the Caribbean and HOOK.Pirate Captain Sam Diego, broadcasting from 107.9 FM Radio, will be in his best “Jack Sparrow” regalia, while Murrugun the Mystic of Ripley's Believe It or Not captivates crowds with his sword swallowing savvy. Rogues and wenches are invited to watch live artist Irina Negulescu as she paints a siren and join in on the mayhem as BViolin and The Gypsy Knights weave a unique mix of world fusion music and buccaneer ballads that will get your swashbuckler boots strapping across the floor! Fred Astaire Dance Studio will be on deck to help kick up your merry feet and MC Sacita Duff |
