Event Description Laugh-in: Art, Comedy, Performance explores the work of contemporary artists who engage the strategies and themes of stand-up comedy to reframe questions surrounding performativity, audience, and public speech. Join us for the Supporters’ Reception and Members’ Opening and be part of this entertaining evening. International Collectors are also invited to join us for a dinner launching a year-long celebration of the International Collectors’ 30th Diamond Anniversary following the Supporters’ Reception. The Members’ Opening is free for Members, $10 for non-members, and $8 for students.

Event Description Learn the ancient art of grinding ink on an ink stone and painting with bamboo brushes on rice paper. Discover a new talent that you didn’t realize you possessed. Learn tai chi along with the four seasons of oriental art, bamboo, orchid, chrysanthemum and plum blossom as well as a “stroke in a breath” and Asian Calligraphy too. Study with the teacher who represented Zen Painting in America in a New York show, Rosemary KimBal. Class time: 3-5pm
