In 2016, ArtWalk @ Liberty Station celebrates 12 years of bringing art of all kinds, music, and interactive art making for families to San Diego in beautiful Ingram Plaza at the Arts District at Liberty Station. Event Description

Sophie’s Gallery presents Constructs: The Art of Saori Weaving at the Japanese Friendship Garden Society of San Diego. Constructs features hand-woven clothing, accessories, woven wall hangings and banners along with a collection of mosaic and fused glass art made by the artists of Sophie’s Gallery, the off-campus art program of St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center (SMSC). A public reception for the exhibit will be held on August 25, 2016 from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the Japanese Friendship Garden Society of San Diego in Balboa Park.

Event Description	Create a mini, jeweled pendant. Students can choose from five to eight different style bezel designs (pendants). The materials for the class will include hundreds of bits and pieces of mini tiles, glass, mirror, for students to create their mini mosaic. All materials and tools are included.
