This evening full of artistic delights, delicious food, live music and Knockaround sunglasses for all benefits the ArtReach Access to Art Program that connects students at K-6 schools throughout San Diego County to engaging, standards-based, sequential visual arts education taught by practicing artists from the community. Event Description

This workshop is for you if you are a beginner, and/or if you are experienced but want to practice and advance your “andamento” (visual flow and direction of your piece). We will be working with a variety of tesserae (pieces of tile and found objects that makes up your mosaic). The mosaic tile and many of the embellishments are handmade by me, making this a unique one of a kind item. You will learn how to cut tesserae with a hammer and nippers. We will be using adhesive and will grouting in this workshop. You will walk away with a finished piece to keep for yourself or give as a gift. All levels are welcome in the same workshop, we all learn from one another!
