Event Description |
Wet felting is a process of creating fabric by intentionally matting fibers together using water, friction, fat, and heat. This transformative process takes layers of soft, fragile wool roving and renders them into patterns, color fields, or imagery that are strong and durable but also soft and flexible.
In this workshop, learn the process of wet felting by creating textile pieces that use imagery inspired by transformative and enduring aspects of identity.
All materials will be provided. |
