From Sea to Italian Countryside: A Visual Genealogy explores the landscapes that have shaped both my life and my heritage. Inspired by the meditative beauty of the California coast and the rolling hills of my ancestral villages in southern Italy, these paintings become a visual journey between two places where I feel at home.
Through layers of texture, light, and color, I seek to capture not only the beauty of each landscape, but also the emotions, memories, and sense of belonging they evoke. My hope is that these works invite viewers to pause, reflect, and discover their own connections to nature, ancestry, and place. |
