Event Description Our Studio 200 gala theme this year is Be the Art, where party goers can express their creativity while celebrating contemporary art and raising funds for the Museum's access programs. Attendees can play in our immersive installations, indulge in art-inspired food, enjoy playful performances and get colorful! You can come as a blank canvas (i. e. all white or solid color) and be transformed colorfully and creatively throughout the evening OR dress in something inspired by art. We'll have plenty of options to embellish your costume as you go, so by the end of the night you are truly your best creative self! This is a night for adults to immerse themselves in our room-sized art installations and enjoy the Museum like a kid, including climbing in giant hammock and sliding down a 40-foot slide! After play time, it's dancing in the streets as local favorite BetaMaxx rocks Island Avenue! Guests will be greeted upon arrival with this year's signature cocktail the Piñata, in honor of our soon-to-open art installation Teatro Piñata. As you work your way through the Museum, you'll come upon a wide range of delicious art-inspired food as well as open bars with beer, wine and cocktails.
