Event Description Ode to the Blue Forest is a collection of original cyanotypes by Oriana Poindexter made with fragments of kelp and seaweed collected from La Jolla’s own blue forest, just offshore. These camera-less photographs display the wisdom and beauty inherent in nature, and inspire contemplation of the evolving relationship humans maintain with the ocean. The show will run from July 6 through August 13, 2022 in the La Jolla Riford Library. Join us for the Opening Reception on July 15, 3-5pm. Open to the Public.

Her uncanny affinity for creatures large and small allows Clara to find solace in the natural world around her. Tension builds within the family as Clara’s younger niece approaches her quinceañera, igniting a sexual and mystical awakening in Clara, and a journey to free herself from the conventions that have dominated her life.

Event Description We look forward to seeing you at ICA’s Central campus in Balboa Park on Friday, July 15th, for NextGen: Graduating Artist Exhibition, opening reception which celebrates the San Diego/Tijuana art scene! NextGen is an exhibition that aims to support recently graduated artists while also fostering the local art ecosystem. Join us for an evening of drinks, and music, and support our local art community!
