It's back! Part party, part runway show, part epic costume contest, ART AFTER DARK returns to Oceanside Museum of Art on October 26, 2024.
OMA’s signature after hours event, ART AFTER DARK transforms the museum into a creative hub full of awe-inspiring wearable art costumes, live music, inspired spooky good libations, and the largest costume contest in the tri-county region. It’s the one-of-a-kind ‘art party’ of the year. This year's event is inspired by our exhibition, Transformative Currents: Art and Action in the Pacific Ocean.
Save the date, and start to plan your wearable art costume! At ART AFTER DARK, YOU are the Art! Come walk the runway, show off your creativity and enter to compete for amazing prizes at OMA's annual costume competition where a panel of renowned judges from the worlds of fashion, art film and theater will select top prize winners. All are welcome to join in this friendly and fun costume competition!
