Join us in the Garage Studio for a rug tufting lesson. Participants will create a small rug. Rugs have a deep history as a textile art, but also as objects that create specific spaces. Using handheld tufting machines, participants can create and design their own rugs using colorful yarn. Learn how to create and translate a design for the medium as well as learn the basics of tufting and begin filling in your designs. |
