Event Description Luana will share her journey of finding and creating her personal artistic vision, exploring topics of creative passion and inspiration, eQuilter's success, and the healing power of mentoring. She will share photos and stories from childhood, her design career in Asia and on 7th Avenue, and her 30 years as a quilter and textile artist. After raising $2 million for charity, Luana is now a full-time activist artist, sharing her messages with the quilt community, environmental and human rights non-profits. At a time when so many of us are concerned about the state of the planet, she is working to empower others to speak up and have a voice to benefit others with no voice. Art heals, art empowers and illuminates. She will be providing a virtual lecture, but this lecture will also be recorded and available for viewing after the lecture. Luana's lecture is part of a 3-part lecture series featuring artists Charlotte Bird (11/17/24) and Carl Brown (12/07/24).
