Distinction Gallery is pleased to present "Tarnished Emporium", an exhibition of new works by celebrated sculptor Valency Genis. She has created a melange of delightfully odd, offbeat creatures sculpted from clay, resin, glass and for the first time - metallics! Longtime fans will see familiar Genis tropes such as mammalian eyes, amusing textiles and fantastical antlers. The works are a splendid expansion of her process and oeuvre.
The opening reception will be held from 6-10pm at Distinction Gallery in Escondido California. There will be live music and drinks available for purchase from LastSpot by Tortari(21+) Artist in attendance.
