Vermillion: made from powdered cinnabar.
This ancient color was a favorite of the Venetian painter, Titian. It ranges from bright orange-red to a duller reddish purple. Our closest version of this is Cadmium Red. Have some fun with this variable hue.
βTo be eligible for the show you only need to make the vermilion prominent; it does not have to be dominant.

Must be original art and the artist's own work. We do not accept any AI-created artwork, installations, or reproductions/giclee prints (except for photography or printmaking which utilizes limited edition prints due to the nature of the medium).
Must be for sale. Artwork labeled "NFS" will be juried out.
