Threshold Encounter: A Guided Waking-Dream Lab
Threshold Encounter is an after-dark participatory arts lab at Expressive Arts @ 32nd & Thorn.
Using personal objects, low light, ambient sound, gentle movement, and the architecture of the room, participants are guided through a quiet process of listening, arranging, noticing, and crossing. Together, the group creates a shared threshold environment: a space where ordinary objects, images, and rooms can begin to feel more charged, intimate, and alive.
This is not a performance, class, or therapy session. There is nothing to perform, explain, or get right. The experience sits between immersive theatre, expressive arts, ritual, dream work, and embodied symbolic practice.
Bring 3–5 small objects or physical images from home. No prior experience required.
For artists, seekers, dreamers, people in transition, and anyone curious about embodied symbolic experience.
18+. Limited capacity. Advance registration recommended. |
