| Event Description |
R.B. Stevenson Gallery is pleased to announce the exhibition “Forest for the Trees” by San Diego artists Stephen P. Curry and Jeff Irwin. We cordially invite you to the opening reception on Saturday October 24th from 5 to 8pm.
Stephen and Jeff have been working with nature and trees in particular for this exhibition. Both artists have been included in group and solo exhibitions at the gallery.
Irwins newest work continues to explore the fragile intersection between the natural environment and human intervention. Through white monochromatic matte ceramic sculptures and detailed shadow box rorschach drawings of topiaries he examines themes of wildlife, environmental loss, and our complex role as stewards and consumers of the natural world. |
