Our banner is in support of our new Educational Support feature Walk with Artist’s Eyes . We are launching with 6 lesson plans created by Brenda Andrews based on the SD Art Prize, 6 based on the DNA of Creativity and 12 based on Art Meets Fashion by teacher team members of those projects. These are FREE and can be customized for different ages and include CA State standards and STEAM references.



2026 SD Art Prize Soft Power: On Color, Time, and Resistance will be at Oceanside Museum of Art opening on Sept 5 th, 2026 and showing until February 7, 2027.

San Diego County Arts & Culture Commission for the District 5 In Community presents a FREE event at the Oceanside Public Library-Civic Center on Wed, Sept 23, from 4 to 6 p.m. There will be a special opportunity to meet the two candidates, Rebecca Jones and Kyle Krahel, for District 5 County Supervisor and hear directly from them about their positions on arts and culture funding and then an hour of partying with food and live jazz.
