The IB Arts Bureau and Library invite South Bay Artists to submit to our Spring 2024, Call for Art. The season of rebirth has always been a favorite subject for artists because of its beauty, multifaceted nature and rich symbolism across countless cultures. After persevering through winter’s short days and long nights, spring is a well-deserved reward. Spring awakening is about change. Change within yourself, change within others, and change within time. For this Call for Art we want to see your interpretation whether abstract or representational but this time we want to see more of your artwork! With assistance from a new guest juror (Galina Marcus, Artist & Founder of the San Diego Art Directory), we’re excited to provide local artists the ability to share a cohesive body of work with the community!
Submission Deadline: Friday, May 3rd.
