Bronowski Art & Science Forum in honor of Jacob Bronowski, who was a humanist, mathematician, scholar and initial Associate Director of The Salk Institute from 1964. Jacob Bronowski, (1908-1974), Bruno, as he was known, was the author of numerous books which included The Ascent of Man (1974), which was also a BBC television documentary series of the same name. This name change is also a nod to The Forum’s consistent supporter, Rita Bronowski. All presentations are free and open to the public. |
