Come see why Mike Dittamo's witty and clever observational insight on everyday life has made him a fan favorite everywhere he has appeared. Oceanside Museum of Art presents a new museum experience, Military Comedy Night at the Museum on May 22 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Prepare to laugh your socks off as award winning comedian Mike Dittamo performs his signature comedy show blended with a mix of military-themed jokes and mirthful stories of his experiences guaranteed to be an instant hit. Dittamo is a veteran comedian and two-time winner of the GI Comedy Boot Camp held at the Laugh Factory where he performed in front of sold out audiences. Along with his hilarious performance, delicious hors d'oeuvres from local Italian restaurant Carbonara will start the night off at 7:00 p.m. A no host bar will also be in house serving beer and wine. Admission is $10 and $5 for OMA members and all military and their dependents. Reservations can be made by calling 760.435.3720. Open seating is on a "first-come" basis, there is no reserved seating. Content is for mature audiences only, guests must be 18+. In addition to the show, guests will have the opportunity to view four exhibitions on view: Painting World War II: The California Style Watercolor Artists, Plastic Fantastic: Allison Renshaw, The Things They Carried: World War II Trench Art, and Painting the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars.
Mike Dittamo is a retired Marine Corps Chief Warrant Officer with over 25 years of service under his belt. Drawing from his experience, Dittamo creates a lively show that engages audiences of all ages. His numerous performances at the Laugh Factory in Long Beach and at private establishments have earned him high praise and popularity.
