curated by the Museum Studies class.

THEME: All things FOOD! We are looking for art that explores the spectrum of our relationship with food, from nourishment and community to indulgence and/or struggle.
We encourage all artists to participate and submit their artworks.
We accept all media. |

Opportunity Description |
Where: San Diego Mesa College Art Gallery, FA 103
Exhibition Dates: November 13 – December 14, 2023
Reception: Thursday, November 16, 2023, 4-7 pm
Submission Deadline: Please submit files and information by midnight, Sunday, October 1, 2023.
Notification: Artists will be notified by Tuesday, October 10, 2023.
Delivery of Artwork: Wed., October 25 - Thurs., October 26, 10am - 6pm or Fri., October 27, 2023, 10am - 4pm.
Eligibility: Open to all emerging and established artists residing in the region. All media are accepted including sculpture, video, soundscapes, two-dimensional work, performance, and installation. Original artwork only, please. And we request that your artwork be ready to hang and install.
Fees: No fees to apply. We do not have a budget for any material costs for this exhibition, therefore work must be funded, produced, and delivered by the artist.

Submission Guidelines: Please submit material listed below to the google form.
1. A maximum of 3 .PDF or .JPEG images. Label and number files with your name. Example: GarciaAlex01.jpeg, GarciaAlex02.jpeg (please keep files between 72 - 150 dpi.)
2. A statement about your work and how it responds to the theme.
3. A link to your website or social media.
