Event Description Charlotte Bird has been a full-time studio artist for over thirty years. Charlotte Bird's "Intimate Wilderness" exhibition at VMOTA is a peek into her perspective of the natural world. In her lecture, Charlotte will share a narrative timeline of her process of developing the Murmuration installation and of the exhibition more broadly, which has morphed several times over the course of two years. She will cover the concept and forms of display development and construction techniques. She will be giving the lecture in person at the museum, but this lecture will also be recorded and available for remote viewing after the lecture. In-Person attendance for this session is limited to 25 and priority will be given to the first 25 registrants. Charlotte's lecture is part of a 3-part lecture series featuring artists Carl Brown (12/7/24) and Luana Rubin (1/21/25).
