Join us for a virtual discussion between internationally-based exhibition artists participating in Transformative Currents: Art and Action in the Pacific Ocean, moderated by exhibition lead curator Cassandra Coblentz. The exhibition organization was modeled on the idea of dynamic interconnected ocean currents. Artists Irwan Ahmett & Tita Salina, Jake Atienza & Martha Atienza, Alex Monteith & Maree Sheehan, and Paul Rosero Contreras will discuss four key themes, or “transformative currents,” that flow through all their work on view in the exhibition. Off The Wall is a conversation series that brings together community leaders, artists, and curators to engage in discussions about current affairs affecting the creative health and well-being of our region, both now and in the future.
