Event Description

Create your own Cherokee Wheels Tote! This basket is both gorgeous and functional with a filled (solid) base and sides woven with a basic over-under basket weave. Learn weaving techniques using various widths and reed colors for amazing, intricate designs. The “Cherokee Wheels” embellishments are created and then added once the basket is complete and a nylon carrying strap is woven into the tote. All materials are included to create one tote (10” length x 6” wide x 9” high). Due to the variety of reeds, color choices will not be possible. Beginners are welcome!
