Event Description

LIBERATED FORMS 2024 is a celebration of Diversity and Desire. The national exhibition of visual arts will run August 8 - 31, 2024 at The Studio Door (San Diego, CA). This is a new exhibition for the gallery. The exhibition represents body and sex positive visual art. The exhibition is meant as a safe space for dialogue and discussion surrounding contemporary experiences of sex and sexuality.

This show includes a mature contents warning and a code of conduct. Guests must be 18 years or older with valid proof of ID for the duration of the exhibition. No photography will be allowed in the gallery.

Free to the public. No reservation required. We encourage your support through the purchase of the artists' artworks.

This creative summer festival will feature over 120 local curated makers, showcasing the best of San Diego's creative community and offering attendees a unique shopping experience outdoors on Liberty Station’s Beautiful North Promenade. Guests can enjoy gourmet food trucks, floral stands, live music performances, Instagram-able photo ops, styled lounges, craft stations, kids activities, and more! From August 10 to October 25, 2024, immerse yourself in typographical creativity, featuring works from sign painters, muralists, block printers, and traditional letterpress and graphic designers. Engage with interactive installations and participate in printmaking activities that offer a hands-on experience with our extensive collection of historic type.
