Event Description |
This year, the Ilan-Lael Foundation (ILF) is thrilled to be presenting its Inaugural Visiting Artist Program at the 41st Harvest Moon Dinner, the nonprofit organization’s annual fundraiser on September 20th. For the first time, ILF is bringing together the works of 8 local plein air artists, photographers and poets. This marks the beginning of ILF’s long-term vision to transform Ilan Lael into a thriving arts center that fosters education, creativity and an appreciation for nature.
These artists were selected by the organization as they each embody James Hubbell's values of nature appreciation, sincerity, and art's impact on our world. To commemorate the evening, a silent auction will offer Harvest Moon attendees the opportunity to purchase the artist’s Ilan Lael inspired artworks. The featured art pieces will later be exhibited at the Santa Ysabel Art Gallery from October 1 to 28, followed by the Union Hall Gallery from November 1 to December 1.
