Vision 2074 celebrates the 50th anniversary of the “Temporary Paradise?” (Donald Appleyard
and Kevin Lynch,1974), one of the few forward-projecting planning documents for our
multinational region, by calling upon designers to boldly envision what our region can become in
the next 50 years and beyond. Inspired by the San Diego Tijuana World Design Capital 2024 (WDC2024) the exhibition presents designs that address social, structural and climatic challenges that will define our region into the distant future.
