Jolie is French for “pretty” and this round basket fits its name. Woven on a round wooden base, it highlights a weaving technique known as French Randing. Other weaves include twining, over-under interrupted, three Rod wale, and lashing a rim with waxed linen thread. The height of the basket can be controlled by the number of rows above and below the French Randing. |
