Free opening party for our immersive LED art show, with a sneak preview of PORTAL at 7pm.
Join us for the opening of Celebrating Light: The Immersive LED Art of Janet Hansen, which showcases several forms of illuminated work, including framed panels, softer textile-based wall hangings, and wearable LED fashion. Much of the work is sound reactive, with visual effects that range from softly meditative to uplifting and energizing.
Around 7pm, enjoy a sneak preview of PORTAL, an immersive light and sound experience created with multidisciplinary artist Judy Berberian, pairing a live soundscape of crystal bowls, gong, chimes, and voice with synchronized waves of light and color. Three full-length variations of the PORTAL experience will take place as ticketed events on November 21, December 19, and December 21.
The opening party is free, but reservations are recommended so the gallery can plan for the crowd. Doors open at 5pm. Light refreshments will be provided. The show remains on view |
